College Life Update: Week 2

The beloved syllabus week has officially ended, and we are now in our second week of classes. Professors are kicking things into high gear with actual class material. This semester I am in five classes: International Short Stories, Organizational Behavior, Social Media Strategies and Campaigns, Advanced Business Analytics and Capstone. While five classes are not the end of the world, it can become quite stressful when all five classes are on the same days. I created my schedule last spring to only have classes Tuesdays and Thursdays so that I could essentially have long weekends every weekend. You may be thinking, "But you have Monday, Wednesday and Friday free how is that stressful?" Well, my Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays are taken up from my internship with the Law school. So, while I may not be stressed with class, I may be stressed my internship. In the free time I do find for myself, I start to stress over my leadership role as the VP of Recruitment on the Panhell

Back in Business

It seems like summer went away in the blink of an eye and we are back at school. This summer I returned for my second season of working with the now Cleveland Guardians. Just hearing me say that one may think I had this super fun job working with a Major League Baseball team, however, my job was not as spontaneous as one may think. I worked in the Kids Clubhouse (KCH) department of the Cleveland Guardians. The KCH is a fun-zone for families to enjoy while still in the ballpark to enjoy the game. I met some great people and hope to return to the stadium next season in a different department. I worked almost every game the entire summer, even leading up to the night before I left to move back to campus. Moving back to campus for my senior year was filled with many mixed emotions. I was excited to return to campus and see all my friends, but also sad to start my last year of college. Going into the real world is a scary thing, so I want to prolong that as much as I possibly can.
